Baja Med Life is a medical tourism coordination and concierge service. We facilitate access to licensed medical professionals and accredited healthcare facilities in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Our services include but are not limited to:
Baja Med Life is a coordination and facilitation company, not a medical provider. We do not employ the surgeons who perform procedures. All surgical and medical services are provided directly by independent, licensed physicians and facilities in Mexico. Our role is to make the experience accessible, safe, and seamless for US-based patients.
The information provided on this website — including descriptions of surgical procedures, recovery timelines, cost estimates, and outcome expectations — is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
All medical decisions, including whether a particular procedure is appropriate for you, must be made in consultation with a licensed medical physician. Baja Med Life does not and cannot make medical determinations regarding your individual health, suitability for surgery, or expected outcomes.
Surgical procedures carry inherent risks, including but not limited to infection, bleeding, anesthetic complications, adverse reactions, prolonged recovery, and in rare cases, serious injury or death. By proceeding with any procedure coordinated through Baja Med Life, you acknowledge that you have been advised of these risks and have consulted with the treating physician to your satisfaction.
Statistics, savings estimates, and outcome figures displayed on this website reflect general industry averages and are not guarantees of individual results. Every patient's body, health history, and circumstances are different.
To use Baja Med Life services, you must:
Baja Med Life reserves the right to decline service to any individual at our discretion, including when a surgeon determines a patient is not a safe surgical candidate. Deposits paid will be refunded in full in such cases, as outlined in Section 6.
It is the patient's responsibility to ensure they meet visa, passport, and travel requirements for entry into Mexico. Baja Med Life does not assume responsibility for immigration or travel document issues.
To secure a surgery date and begin the pre-operative coordination process, a non-refundable reservation deposit of $299 USD is required ("Deposit"). This Deposit:
The Deposit does not constitute full payment for any medical procedure. The remaining balance due for your procedure will be disclosed clearly prior to your travel date and is payable directly in Mexico before or on the day of your procedure.
Exceptions: The Deposit is fully refundable if, after your pre-operative consultation, the treating physician determines that you are not a suitable candidate for the procedure. In this case, a full refund will be processed within 7 business days.
We understand that circumstances change. The following cancellation policy applies to all reservations:
Hotel and travel cancellations are subject to the individual hotel and airline policies and are not controlled by Baja Med Life. Patients are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance that includes trip cancellation and medical evacuation coverage.
Baja Med Life coordinates ground transportation within Mexicali and hotel accommodations at partner properties. These logistics are included in your package as described at time of booking. The following conditions apply:
Patients traveling to Mexico for medical procedures assume all responsibilities associated with international travel, including compliance with US re-entry requirements and any post-surgical travel restrictions recommended by the treating physician.
The Baja Med Life website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or harmful components.
All content on this website — including text, images, pricing information, surgeon profiles, and procedure descriptions — is provided for general informational purposes and may be updated or changed at any time without notice. Pricing displayed is an estimate based on current average package rates and is not a binding quote until confirmed in writing by Baja Med Life.
Links to third-party websites (including hotels, hospitals, or other providers) are provided for convenience only. Baja Med Life does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Baja Med Life, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services, the website, or any medical procedure coordinated through us.
This includes but is not limited to: surgical complications, medical malpractice claims, post-operative injuries, adverse outcomes, travel incidents, hotel-related incidents, border crossing issues, or any losses — financial, physical, or emotional — resulting from participation in any program offered by Baja Med Life.
Baja Med Life's total maximum liability to any client, for any reason, shall not exceed the total amount of the Deposit or fees paid directly to Baja Med Life (not including amounts paid directly to surgeons, hospitals, or hotels).
Medical malpractice claims, if any, are the direct responsibility of the treating physician and/or facility and must be pursued separately under Mexican law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Baja Med Life, its owners, officers, directors, agents, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
Your privacy is important to us. The collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
By using our services and submitting a consultation form, you consent to the collection and use of your personal and health information as described in our Privacy Policy, including sharing relevant health information with treating physicians and coordinating facilities for the sole purpose of providing your requested medical services.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or health information with third parties for marketing purposes. All information shared with medical providers is done solely for the purpose of facilitating your care.
All content on the Baja Med Life website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, video content, page layouts, and design elements — is the exclusive property of Baja Med Life or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on this website without prior written permission from Baja Med Life. Personal, non-commercial use (such as saving a page for reference) is permitted provided it does not violate these Terms.
The "Baja Med Life" name and logo are proprietary marks of the Company. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of Baja Med Life services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), with proceedings conducted in English in San Diego County, California.
Class action lawsuits and class-wide arbitration are expressly waived. You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only.
Baja Med Life reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the website or our services following any posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. For material changes that affect existing reservations, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email.
